How can I make sleeping pills or sleeping alternatives by myself?

i dont know if you mean to actually make the pills if so that i cant answer or do you mean to get the pills out of your system. as far as sleep alternatives, stay away from exercise,caffeine, chocolate, alcohol, or soda mainly coke and pepsi, at least 3 hours before bedtime,go to bed and wake up each day the same time,even if you did not sleep well the night before, if your twisting and turning in the bed get out of it and do something boring like reading a book to make you tired then try going back to sleep.also they sell in health stores melatonin, you can ask your doctor, but i think the usual dose .3mg.at bedtime, but first try the above ,if problem still persists ask your md to refer you to a sleep specialist, if this does not answer your question,kindly write back explaining what your question is better, good luck,karel ps,ask your physician first before trying melatonin,and believe it or not hot milk before bed, when boiled it contains tryptophan which also is an amino acid and makes one sleepy.
