my partner is starting to get rather annoyed with me i seem to make a lot of moaning and groaning noises in my sleep i also tend to wiggle a lot and he seems to think i look like and sound like i maybe having sex. this is coursing us to argue and i wondered if there was anything i could do???

If you are snoring it could be sleep apnea, however if you are twitching in your sleep it could be sleep seizures, but it may also be something as simple as deviated septum and sinus trouble. First of all I would sleep on 2 pillows or a wedge which if its sinuses would help. Secondly 3 hours before my bedtime stay away from caramel colored soda like coke and pepsi, gingerale, root beer, caffeine, tea, coffee, chocolate and exercise all this make for restless sleep. 30 minutes before bedtime take a hot bath to relax, latest research is that immersing the palms of the hand under the hot water send impulses to the brain that its time to relax and get ready for sleep, and lastly l5 minutes before bedtime drink a glass of warm milk. Milk when heated contains tryptophan a natural amino acid sleep inducer so a glass may do the trick. as suggested if its a snore that you need to go to a sleep center for an evaluation if its twiching in my sleep you need a neurologist, but now i think it may be sinus trouble to try these tips. feel free to email again karel
