Humming during sleep

Question
My husband has recently developed the habit of humming during sleeping. He sits very late at night because he concentrates more during these hours(might even go upto 4 a.m). However he manages  to get atleast 7 hrs of sleep daily, though not at a strech. Though the phenomenon has become very frequent, his version of humming is that it happens only when he is very tired. Any suggestions?

Answer
As long as its not a snore, it could be sinuses he should sleep on 2 pillows, if there is no twitching otherwise see a neurologist. If his daytime alertness is being affected by this than it could be a sleep disorder. Your local hospital can refer you to a sleep center.  feel free to email again karel
