i have a problem.because seriously i always wants to sleep.i always feel extremely sleepy, but at night it takes me forever to fall asleep, how bizzaro is that. and im only 18, that is really sad. well i am overweight, and people tell me if i start exercising it will give me more energy but i do just a little bit, and i am completely exhausted. i do smoke some, some people said thats why. and my doctor tells me i have anxiety.i dont know what to do. any of your advice would really help. or if you think i have something else that i should have checked.

Some people who are overweight suffer from sleep apnea, has anyone said you snore in your sleep.if so I would suggest if the problem persists for you to go to a sleep center and see if you have apnea or narcolepsy. As far as being tired all day it also could be because you cant sleep at night. here are some tips, never exercise at night, that can keep you awake, exercise no later than 3pm, stay away from chocholate,caffeine, or alchol, also coke or pepsi, at least 2 hours before bed, as the caramel color and caffeine can keep you awake. if you still cant sleep, dont stay in the bed twisting and turning, instead get out of the bed and do something boring, like reading a book, this may make you sleep, and lastly try to go to sleep the same time or near to it each night, if all else fails, again, go to a sleep center for an evaluation.please feel free to write again with any other questions you may have, good luck,karel
