I wake up in the night hallucinating that things are growing. What is this ?

Question
Last night I found my self waking up with a massive head ache and a sore throat, I decided to go down stairs but for it hard as I kept falling into the walls, when I made it downstairs I went to the kitchen to take some paracetamol's. I felt really weak and sat on our sofa in the living room, our puppie was scratching my legs, my head really hurt so I lead down to avoid the dog. I felt really light head and my head was pounding. I looked around the room as things started to grow around me and I became short of breath. I tock off my jumper and it felt really heavy in my hands even though it is quite flimsy. I had a weird feeling going through my body, it was as if I was floating, I felt really light. It tock a few minutes until it stopped and I went back up to bed.

I had hallucinated before when I was younger (I am 15) it happened twice, I'm not sure of the age I was, nothing grew though, the room used to shrink instead and I would run crying to my parents, it would happened for about 5 minutes until it would stop.

No matter where I go this would happen in every room I went in.

Please help me find out what this is.

Answer
If it were a sleeping disorder you would not feel weak and would not be walking around but hallucinating in your bed for a split second.  Im no md but the feeling of weakness can definitely be a blood sugar problem as the hallucinating if your sugar went really low. You should go to your md to do basic blood and urine test to rule out any low blood sugar or diabetes. If all checks out you may want to consult a sleep center. Your local hospital can refer you however i think this may be a sugar problem, feel free to email again karel
