Question
I regularly sleep 10 hrs/night, and still sometimes feel tired getting out of bed in the morning. Is this within the range of normal? I eat well, don't smoke, and get - well, prob. not enough, but a little exercise.

according to the latest on the national sleep foundation, a teenager will need 10-12 hours of sleep.an adult 8-10hrs.,as we get older we may need 6-8 hr. of sleep,but these also state that there is no set normal amount as long as its not over 12.one would think its normal range.feel free to write again hope this helps, also perhaps you are tired in am because you exercise,drink caffeine or alcohol, or chocolate 3 hours before bedtime which can make sleep not restful.so stay away from any of them at least 3 hours before sleep.karel
